whats the big differences in these sleds. mines a 94 and my friend's got a 95ext 580. how will they compare?? both are carb

The ZR engine is ported for more hp, it also sits lower in the sled to allow for tighter turning. The EXT engine is higher, which makes your center of gravity higher, allowing you to tip the sled easier on the side hills. Stock ZR's also have higher engagement, they were designed for racing. EXTs were more civilized, if you do a lot of stop and go, they are a LOT nicer on your belts and clutches.

thanks for the reply. i've heard the difference in ext and zr is like the difference in newer zr's and zl's.
