Computer question

I just got a new sled and have some questions about it. It is a 2002 arctic cat sno pro 440. There appears to be some sort of a computer beneath the secondary clucth. This computer has a knob on it for some kind of adjustment. What is it for? Help me please!

I think it's the timing control unit. You can use it to adjust the timing on the sled for different fuels.
