can anyone tell me how I would know if my rear suspension needs to be recharged? Im very new to snowmobiles . Semms to me that when sitting on the floor only the springs are working not the shock. It doesnt seem to sag any though. When on the floor dolly's it seems tight. I cant figure it out. Thanks in advance for any help....Bee

when you push on the rear of your sled, it should go down slowly then not spring up but come up slowly too. if it goes down easily and springs up, you need a recharge.

Thats just what I thought. What should I expect to pay a dealer to have this done?

through my dealer it was 50 bucks for my 02 zr 600 rear shock. im assuming they're similar if not identical. My dealer didnt do it in house they sent the shock out and had another guy do it. the next time i just took it directly to the guy who did the shock, turned out he lived less than 3 miles away from me. that cost 35 bucks..
