efi starting issue

I just purchased a 1995 Pantera with 580 efi. It started well at the time. Since the engine area was really oil and dirty I decided I would pressure wash the engine area out. I started it up shortly after and it ran no problems. It has now sat a couple of days and when i went to start it turns over but won't fire. Also before I noticed that when the key was switched "ON" a fuel pump (i assume that's what it was) would kick in. I have noticed that it isn't happening now. Did I screw something up by washing it out? Does the fuel pump have a fuse? Any ideas would be a real help.

TIA

If i were you i would check if the battery is charged. If the battery is charged and the pump isnt goin then you have a bigger problem. The same thing happened to me and it wound up being the battery.

you could very easily knocked a wire loose or even off with a pressure washer. you have to be really careful under the hood with those things.
