I have an MBRP on my F6 and its really loud. My friend has an SLP on his F7 and it sounds stock.A Rumble Pack will put you somewhere in between.

rumble pack is probably your best choice. I like mine on my zr 600. Nice little tone at idel but at WOT when the APV's open, she screams.

Hope you don't ride in the areas that I ride, since we can't afford to have any more trails closed down due to LOUD pipes!!

I don't know how any trails stay open with all of these idiots running pipes and cans. Thanks for helping the sport guys!

I have a sno-stuff rumble pack on my 03 F7 efi and it sounds pretty good. Deep and barky off idle and it really sings up high. I really like it. Some people say its too loud, but those are usually the people left eating my snowdust. And to the 4 stroke yamaha guys, if pipes on those things sounded any good, then you would have em too, I guarantee.

Hope you don't ride in the areas I ride, cause I'd like to keep the trails available in the future. Noise is cool until you encroach on other peoples sensibilities!! I guarantee you, that I wouldn't be "eating your snowdust"!! Sounds like punk comments!! JMO!!

I'm pretty sure my Apex with stock exhaust sounds cool enough without changing a thing!!! At least my ears don't ring when I get done riding and I won't get bugged by the DNR,plus I don't have to invest in ear plugs, silencers are best on mountain sleds in my opinion, period!

I'm just saying that in the mountains it sounds cooler and there isn't such a big deal made about the noise as there is with trail machines. Let's face it,the laws are getting stiffer with noise, especially in Wisconsin and Michigan,I just don't want to see the trails get shut down due to something as simple as noise issues. I had a silencer on one Polaris for about half a year then sold it to a guy in Utah I believe. It just drove me nuts riding it with it on.

Everyone has their own preferences. I just can't ride a sled without a silencer on it. I just love it.
