I had a 1997 Polaris XLT600 and it had a huge seat. My wife and I could ride together. I installed an adjustable backrest and that was pretty cool. Gave me some support on long rides, and I could easily slide it rearward for a passenger. A backrest is an absolute must for a passenger because without it, they are constantly holding their stomach and abdomen muscles tight tight tight to stay on !!!
