glad you were not hurt. i did the same thing with my FIII, hit in the same spot, it was cool, the bumper folded right around the pipe not damaging it, pushed everything back to the radius rods without hitting them. i was up in big bay at the time, took a hacksaw and sawed off half the bumper and rode it home.
