What trail where you on?
I have a place on Black Lake in the Forest, been there 17 years.
Seems like we lose a rider every few years.
Usually at night they run the lake too fast and the shore comes up too quick to stop.
A few years back a guy going down Black towards Little Black hit the shore at the portage so hard he hit a tree 15 feet above the ground and was killed. You could see the red marks from his sled up above your head.
Believe there's still a reef hanging on that tree.
Take it easy guys, especially at night.
