Snowmobile Friendly Places & People

Sorry if this sounds like an advertisment, but I just have to tell you a short story about Pam, the owner of this B&B, Grace Grange, near Petoskey, MI (www.gracegrange.com). This place is right on the snowmobile trail for very easy access.

When SnowRida, , Me & both juniors were out a couple of weeks ago, we ended up on some very desolate, (bare) roadside trails. We had stopped to check the map, when Rida, realized he hadn't enough fuel to get back to the trail-head. Pam, came driving along & asked if we were lost (typical fe-male question) & we said we knew exactly where we were (typical male reply). Although that answer wasn't entirely true, one thing that was true was there were zero gas stations in the area. Well, this wonderful woman, Pam, said she had a 5 gallon can of gas in her barn that Rida could have. She sure saved our (Rida's) butt's that day.

Anyway, I think that if there are similar snowmobile friendly people/establishments you've experienced, please share them!! These are the type of establishments we should patronize & let our friends know about.
