You could probably call me a killer. The last buck I shot was 4 yrs ago and I thought it was a doe. I always get doe tags and shoot the first one or two that cross my path. Mabey not so sporting but I ALWAYS have venison in the freezer. I used to get pretty exited drawing a bead on a deer and missed a few golden oppertunities @ great trophies. No more. I can't remember the last time I missed a shot.

I've used slugs, a .243, 303 brit., 8mm mauser, 257 roberts, and 30.06. The .06 is my favorite because it works so well in so many situations and when using my Ruger M77 I can place shots inside a 1" circle @ 100yds every time. That rifle has been responsible for a LOT of meat.

I don't have much time for scouting or hunting because that time of year I'm always trying to squeaze in as much work as possible before winter. I KNOW how cold a well diggers ass gets in January!

BTW even this "killer" doesn't bait. Never have.
