I had a friend that bought a new 01 RMK and had the same problems the first time he rode it. It went back to the dealer several times. Finally the only way they could fix it was to install much larger jets in the carbs. The original jets were what the service manual called for, but it never had a problem since the bigger ones were installed. Check everything over good. Maybe when your line broke, something else got hurt with the heat?
