yeah i know all about re-jetting and and all that fun stuff, i had a 97 ultra with SLP triples in it, i really liked them but i was just curious what others had to say about the twins/singles and different brands... and as for noise, i agree, some are rediculous (mbrp silencers for instance), but after we got stopped by the dnr a couple weeks ago for speeding and two of our guys had after market exhaust that were noticably louder and the CO's didn't even make a mention to them about it, my fears of gettign a ticket were subsided a bit... thanks for the input cal and sesnopro, i know 600se was trying to disuade me from getting a set b/c he's worried about the noise, which is understandable but i've already made up my mind.... hey sesnopro, have you ever used the hotseat pipes? b/c liek you said, i would like to keep my money in MN, but not if i won't be happy with them....
i've also been told that singles are better for the low end, but if all i'm looking for is top end speed to go with the twins, is there any truth to this?
