Depends
Mikeeg, depends on how you ride. Short bursts of trail, lots of stops and starts the 500 should be fine. Long trails, lakes, bush riding get something bigger. I have a 2009 600 etec renegade and ride the later. Just love it. Plenty of power and speed. I'm no racer though but need a reliable sled with enough power to cut some powder and get me out of a jamb. Etec in my opinion is the way to go if your going to keep it for a while because the technology, clean emmissions, and fuel milage are something I think BRP will expand on in the future.
