Yeah i'm 16 and i'm from wisconsin too. I've never even been stopped. here you don't have to have your G1 to cross roads. just a snowmobile lisence. easy enough. I swear i could have slept through the entire class and gotten a passing grade.
the other thing to think about is this, we'll use the county i live in, Winnebago as an example. I'm pretty sure Winnebago County only has 2 DNR field officers. I know for sure that outagamie only has 2. so that leaves the local police force to pull over sledders, and they obviously can't follow you around on the trails anyways. so the only time you might get stopped is crossing a road. except that most all the trails are out in the country where the cops don't even care anyway...
