Formula III bogging out...
I am new to this site but hope somebody can help me. I have a 96 Formula III 600. I spent last couple weeks getting my sled ready. Got new skis, replaced the torn seat, and last night took the carbs off and gave them a good cleaning, replaced the plugs and belt. When all was done I fired it up and it roared to live again. Still wanting to bog out after it drops down to idle and I attempt to throttle it. I thought it may have been dirty carbs but I guess not. i have a very limited knowledge of "tuning" the sled. Please offer any help you can, snow is on the way.
P.S. The sled acted similar last year at the beginning of the season, but eventually cleared up throughout the season.
