Sled recommendation
Hey everyone, I'm new here and I would just like to say this site looks great.
I have been sledding for 2 years now but never bought my own machine, I have pretty much just been renting to the tune of 1000$ a weekend. So I think its time for me to make the plunge and get my own.
Obviously I am not as knowledgeable as (any) of you so I hope someone here could help guide me.
I live in a big city where recreational activities are heavily regulated, my sled will probably never see speeds higher then 80km/h and only rarely travel off a trail and never on anything but snow. Maintenance is also very expensive here with labor costing close to 100$/h plus parts and booking fee. I will be putting heavy km on it so I would like something as durable as possible. I am also a heavy rider.
Keeping all this in mind I have no need for anythings fast or light, just durable and adequate. It has to be new as I plan to finance and while money is an issue, I'm not looking to cheep out.
So can anyone recommend a starting point for me?
