First off the bat I have to thank everyone for their excellent advice on getting my Ski Doo up and running. Thanks to you guys I got it running great and starting on the first pull. My latest problem is in regards to my older (1989?) Yamaha Phazer. I was replacing the seat and had to drill through the front phillips screws due to it being rusted and stripped. Well I drilled through the one side no problem on the second side my bit went right throught the side of the gas tank! A bunch of four letter words followed as gas came streaming out. The hole is in a very accessible spot if I were to repair it. My question is how do I repair it and with what? I would love to be able to keep it and repair versus replacing the tank but am I better off replacing it? It is a hole a little smaller then a pencil diameter. What to use and how?
