Lucky duck, my TNT was one of my favorite sleds until it croaked... The 340 was adequate I'd bet with the 440 its pretty fun. I keep thinking someday I'll get another and sneak a 440 liquid into it, that'd be a screamer.

Take a look at the ski shocks, on mine they were both bad and the ski tips would actually clip the bumper on big bumps. Good shocks should keep that from happening and give you a better ride.
Theres a limiting strap on the suspension (there was on the '76 anyway) that is usually set in the middle which keeps the suspension fairly low. I *think* you could set it so the suspension was at its highest point which would put more weight on the skis and make the sled easier to turn without hurting performance too bad but that'll be a test it and see kind of thing.
