Hi folks

I am just gettting into the vintage sled thing. My wife wanted a few snowmobiles to ride with the kids so we went out and got a few for her. We got a "95" Arctic Cat Pantera 2 up, "88" Cat Cougar, "80" Ski-Doo Citation, "80" John Deere Liquidfire. I have a bad back so I am not able to go with on the rides so I thought it would be a good thing to get an old sled to work on with my sons so that they would realize what it takes to repair them when they trash them. I found an "73" Evinrude Quiet Flite that was apart that came with an extra engine and hood and suspension parts for $75. Then a "72" Evinrude Skeeter was offered that I just couldn't pass up. About 2 weeks ago my son seen an ad on craigslist for a barn full of Evinrudes. He asked if we could go look at them because he wanted to start collecting them too. He is only 13 and his mom said that we had enough but she was working and I decided that if we just went and looked that would not hurt anything. Long story short we ended up getting 13 Evinrude and Johnson sleds. We got 4 Rotary sleds, 3 45 and 1 35. 2 650 Skimmers, 3 Quiet Flites, 1 Johnson Reveler, 3 Skeeters and a bunch of spare parts! I still am not sure what we have for parts yet. I haven't had time to go through them and they are not all hauled home yet. The wife was not happy but my sons sure are. Two of the rotaries just need to be cleaned up and they will be ready to roll. Same with the quiet Flites. The rest will need some work but I am sure that it is nothing that we can't handle. Heck. I might even have to go on a short run with the family. Praying for a fast summer so that we can get out and enjoy our "rude's"
