I'm been wanting a snowmobile for 30 years. I rode one when I was a kid in Indiana, and I was hooked. Now, finally, at age 40, I can actually afford one. I just bought a Yamaha RS Venture GT and have lots of basic questions.

I don't want to annoy anyone with my VERY basic (to you, they're basic but to me, hard) questions so I would like to know where I should post stuff like this...

1)what's the diff between helmet styles? Doesn't the motocross style wearer get a frozen face? or

2)Do I need to invest in heated clothing or is that a waste of money? Can anyone help?
