Yeah, the windshield line did bother me as well. The reason I mounted it where I did was that the handle bar pad is parralell with the ground there. The pad is more angled at the center of the handle bars, and I think it'd cause the camera to rotate up or down.
I did want it behind the windshield to eliminate most of the wind noise - I'd rather hear the engine.
I did notice the vibration at idle - it also seems to distort the picture at 75-80 MPH (it's more obvious on the original movie before it got compressed by utube)
Thanks, JKSled. I guess it didn't turn out too bad. I've got some pretty stiff foam rubber that I may be able to put between the camera and handlebars - it's worth a shot. Too bad the warm weather had the trails closed.
