Caught my eye too, that's why I picked it up. It's styled like a traditional dog sled but it has steel skis and a fiberglass pontoon boat shaped hull. The skis stick out the back so a rider can stand up on the tails and hang on to the bar for dear life.

It was manufactured by Aurele Marois Inc in Montmagny Quebec, date on sticker is scratched but I'm guessing early 70's. If anyone has more info or has seen others like it, please post here.

It's stripped down to parts now but as I get more work done on it, I'll post pics.

So far:
- had 3/8" round bar runners made at work and I formed them to fit as well as the old ones
- new hitch arrived for Polaris sled along with spring loaded receiver for sleigh. This will replace the 1 7/8" ball receiver someone welded to it in the past.

Won't have much time as the kids want to go snowboarding this weekend as Kanasuta (Centre plein air Mont Kanasuta, Pour Vivre l’hiver!), the local ski hill just across the Quebec border, will be open.
