well...my dad when he first got into sleds he got an old excel 340 that was a pain in the rear to start lol i think i was about 8 when he got it, then he sold it and got a 95 mxz 583 and i always rode it around the field and the yard. 2 years later he traded that in for the forumula 3 700 triple and we spent a lot of time riding that then he finally let me ride it on my own...i think i was like 12...now today still a teenager i just bought an 81 excel 3 340 for 350 bucks as my first sled. nothing like following the footsteps of your father. lol sometimes good sometimes bad
