Got another question on the speedo. I noticed the miles are abnormally low so I decided to check it out. Found that the piece that bolts to the track seems bad. When I pulled it out there looks like some wire that is rusted into a cone shape where it goes into this piece. Is there a way to fix this? I was thinking of filing a lip on that and making a bushing to go inside. It seems the end that comes out of the tunnel is OK because if I move the track I can see it move slightly. The cable is good too.
I hope I described this good enough. I can try to get pictures if needed.
