I had a 95 ZR 580 EFI, it was a quick sled and was very fun in the corners. Watch out for piston skirts failing, usually around the 2500 mile mark. Keep a good battery in the system as the EFI computer does not like poor batteries. It is a mid-90s Arctic cat, so watch out for PTO side driveline bearing failure (if the speedo quits, check the bearing!). They also suffer from very cheap throttle safety switches and bushings that can leave you stranded. If it has the 6-post comet/ac clutch, when the clutch goes south, replace it with a 9 post Cat clutch, they are much stronger and go a lot more miles between rebuilds/service. I have yet to see that year ZR without a crack in the hood about mid-hood, that must have been a weak casting point or something.
