Hello & Welcome, Boz! A friend of mine rode a Polaris 2-Up for years - she hated it. BUT, that's because she never had a passenger & it was diffictlt to maneuver through the corners (we ride up around either Tipler, WI or Hurley, WI - groomed trails). However, people that DID ride it with two people - either as the passenger or as the driver - loved it.
I know you said your wife won't drive her own, but has she tried? I'm kind of comparing apples to oranges here, but I've hated every single motorcycle ride I've been on, and I really think it's because I feel like I'm completely out of control as the passenger. I'd much rather be my own driver - especially on a sled.

Currently sled-less, planning on changing that
