not sure if the admin is ok w/ your advertisements...might want to check w/ them ...
also, i dont think its wise to have your "members" register to view your forum. imo you'll turn away more people than gain members. (pretty much) all forums on the net allow you to view threads, and get a feel for the forum, before you register. i think you should do the same.
second, i would get rid of the background. it reminds me to much of myspace. by far the worst way to set up a webpage. just some constructive criticism.
