For a trail mountain combo 141 to 151 is the sweet spot. You can maneuver on the trails and still be okay on the mountain.
I have a 136 trail one inch track and a 166 mountain 2.4 lug. I can cruise all day on the trail with the 136 but the 166 can't keep up. Its like the 166 is an 18 wheeler on the trail.
On the powder the 166 floats and climbs anywhere. The 136 sled gets to sit and watch. Very awesome track (166) for the steep and deep, but turns like a freight train.

Still I think for most 141 to 151 is best for trail/powder.
