Yes tired make a difference, Big tires for a 302. Stock? I just thought of that, not dual for stepside.. should mount one in the box then! lol Can't take much of a trip with only 160 miles a tank man. Do alot of offroad with that? Have pics?
I had a 1989 Toyota 2.4L that I lifted and put 33's on.. left the motor stock. It went from getting 16 mpg to 7. lol Ya.. it makes a difference.. going up hill had to shift from 5th to 2nd in about 20 seconds, it was like a VW Bus!
