We were at a resturaunt about 100 miles outside of Big Bay, there was this gas station about 1/3 up the road. Well, my dad and his friend zipped up there about 100mph, filled up. I said "yeah, I'm good on gas." me being naive and all, I flagged down everyone about 15 miles back on the trail, telling everyone to turn around. My gas meter told me I was almost on E. I made it to the gas station, and ran out of gas about 10 feet away from the pump, close call. We had no gas tanks with us. That would've been horrible!
Gas tanks? I've seen a lot of tool-kit lists, but never seen a siphon on any of them! Why not? That's one of the first things I went out and bought. Got a nice little gas bulb (like used on boats to prime them). The cheapo ones in auto stores aren't worth the cardboard they're stuck to. If I ever run too low on petrol - or if I come across someone who needs some, I can always move a couple gallons from one sled to another. Seems like something all sled tool kits should include...

Anybody agree???
