piston pieces in crankcase
Hello,
I blew a piston in my exciter 570 and tiny bits of aluminum got into the crankcase. I took the crankcase apart and the crank bearings were full of aluminum from the piston,so I blew out the bearings with compressed air and now they turn freely. They are still within wear specifications. Just wondering if the bearings should be replaced in the crankshaft, or will they be alright?
