The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has empirical data showing it is getting warmer NCDC: Global Warming and the only scientists who disagree are the same ones who don't think cigarettes cause cancer.

The big disagreement is what will happen as the climate changes. The stereotypical theory of palm trees in Montreal is probably wrong. They are starting to think that the weather will destabilize and we will see periods of extreme weather (like the current snowfall in the Pacific North West)

So, IMHO this doesn't spell the death of snowmobiling, but you may not be able to depend on snow in your back yard. But there really isn't anything new about that is there?

I think if anything will do this sport in, it will be gas prices and loss of riding trails.

I just can't pass up a flame bait thread like this
