Its the wire that goes to the throttle side of the handlebar and connects to the safety switch. Just unplug it.
Also unplug the kill switch and the key switch to eliminate them as the problem. If the engine starts, plug them back in with it running and when it shuts off, that is the problem. If there is still no spark with them all unplugged, check that there is power before the CDI. If there is, the CDI needs to be replaced.
