being sure of you sled is a good start,but rideing with newer machines is.. or can be brutal! the suspension or LACK of slows you down.hows your back? I ride with some vintage guys (there sleds too)it just makes for some slower rides. no 200mi+ days. If your up to HAVE AT IT! just being on the trail is worth it! im planning a trip from the bethel/newry Me. area to fort kent Me. as soon as we have the snow to make it a reality.(it never happend last year)
