I had a 2000 zr 600 efi and the needle would make it to p in mph. I don't know exactly how fast that is, but I know it was past 100. Speedometers are known for being off, so maybe yours is too. I have known them to be off in the high direction, but maybe yours is off in the slow direction. Best way to find out is with a radar gun or gps.
