Ethanol can be added to both regular &/or premium pump gas....usually in small amounts (5-10%). The FC ethanol switch is used for that particular scenario. AC recommends regular unleaded (87 ROM) for their engines. As I understand, it affects fuel metering (richer) when the switch is activated; does not revise ignition timing.
