Depends a LOT on where you are! A $1000 sled in MI could easily bring $1500 in western NY.
Some local sleds currently for sale:

'95 Doo 380 2-up, 1600 mi : $1800
You folks in MI can pick your chins off the floor now... that's just what they sell for here. That's also why I drove to MI to buy my sleds.
