get creative, ive done it. its not hard. cut it out and cut a new piece of plastic to fit. hard part is cutting a new one to fit without gaps. i used thick CA glue you can get at any hobby shop. fills up small gaps nicely and holds strong and tight.

ive also cut my finger getting 'creative', but i was being cocky and bet i could do the whole job in an hour. take ur time and you could do it
