A lot of ZR's were set up for racing and had high engagement rpms to get that hole shot. When I got mine, both were engaging well over 5000 rpm, which is great if you are racing, horrible on the trails. I have both of 'em down to around that 4000 mark as well, it's MUCH easier on the trails when you do a lot of stop and go...
