Clutch engagement rpm ????'s

Ok two sleds, one is a 94 EXT 580 l/c
the other is a 96 zr580 efi

The 94 engages at right about 3800 it looks like. While the 96 is closer to 4500.

I noticed the belt on the 96 was really, I mean really loose, barly had to work at it to take it off. So I put on the stock spare belt, now it engages at around 4300.

My question is what are typic stock enagement rpms for these sleds?

Doing some more preseason work on them since we just got em, and wondering if a clutch spring replacement is in the cards as well..

Thanks.
