I have an 2006 m7 153 and my parents have 2005 revs 151's . I know the difference to now is quite substantial, but maybe i can give an unbiased comparison of this generation. I love my m7, and to be quite honest, i like my parents revs. I feel as though the m7 is quite a bit more unstable when we are cruising on the trails to get to the fresh stuff, compared to the rev. On the other hand, I feel as though it is quite a bit more easy for me to turn in the fresh stuff than the revs and have had some others say the same thing. Now this is just hopping from one to the other, so maybe with some time the rev would be just as easy. To be quite honest, I feel as though you would not be let down with either sled. On my m7 it has efi, which is a nice feature since I also live and ride in colorado, so it adjusts like a charm moving from low to high altitude and vice versa. I would go with which one I could get a better deal on, if I were in your situation. The other thing is if you like creature comforts, definitly go for the doo since it has more of this type of stuff where as the m series is more stripped down. Hope this helps.
