mothers take too long. I use a spray on aluminum brightener called "albrite" , let it set for 3 minutes then powerwash it off. works fantastic on anything aluminum, track, tunnel, etc. then I rub it down with a standard car wax to keep it shinning all season long.

Ispray (mix 50/50 with water and put in garden sprayer) the whole sled. It also seems to brighten the painted areas as well. rinse it well then wax it and looks brand new.

Did a 79 Jag 340 with this stuff and was amazed how well it works. Bought the liquid gold in cleveland, Ive got the name of the place if you are interested. I love the stuff. Iuse it once a year on the cars, dirt bikes and four wheelers
