Hey, new to the boards here.
I just recently bought a 1996 Skidoo Formula STX 583 Twin for 1000$ localy. The guy said he rebuilt the rear suspenion with new bogeys, bearings, ect. Well, when he bolted the rails on, he must have not did too well of a job. After a weekend of riding, and over 100 miles, the bolt on the left rail came out somehow (without me knowing). Then since that happened, the right rail pretty much broke since all the weight was forced down on it I guess.
Im wondering if theres any other rear suspension for a 121" track, from maybe a Mach 1 or some other skidoo with nice suspension, would fit my machine. I just bought a new track from Camoplast, and im kinda wanting to test it out
ANY help would be greatly appreciated, since Im new with snowmobiling maintnence. Im located in northern Minnesota, so if anyone knows any used Skidoo parts dealers or something, please let me know.
