Nothin' less than $1.79 for the cheep stuff and around 1.95 for premium north of Houghton this last weekend. Copper Harbor was $2.65 although they tend to try to take advantage of location. 10 miles away by trail was around $2.05.

It's a bit steep, but then again, it's a heck of a lot better than staying home & riding in the dirt !

Trials were good to excellent, not much dirt. Off trail was fair. Needs more snow, but definately a good time. Didn't even think about coming home early due to lack of snow. After two days in low 30's, temps dropped to 10 below w/ a high of 3 below. Everything was really hard. If the trail was smooth to begin with, it was a sweet race track after. If it was bumpy before the hard freeze, then the bumps were a contanstant "pain in the butt" - literally ! And that's on a race sled where you don't spend much time sittin !
