Welcome to the forum.

You might want to look around and view some previous discusions about what sled to buy.

You say .. first of all i'd like it to be light. the lighter the better.

The cheapest way to do this is remove all the unecessary plastic cosmetic items. Even the windshield.

The second cheapest is to replace the manufacturer EPA can (exhaust silencer) with a lighter one. Most aftermarket cans are lighter since they were no EPA certified with the original sled.

I would say a light sled is in the 375 to 475 pound area.

Sled suspensions are designed for 180 to 210 pound person with gear.

So what kind of riding. mostly powder, speed on the trail. jumping?
