wrap the electronics in waterproof bags, ie-plastic bags. seel it up nice and tight. make sure no metal wire part is showing. i recomend routing the snorkel so it comes out near the grab bar. this wont block ur vision. but as long as it comes out somewhere, your good to go. Any underground wires going in ur town, cuz those 2-3 inch diameter tubes flex and make great snorkels. best of all they are free if you know where to look. make some cap to put on the top, the last thing u want is a mouse getting in there when you store it. you might wanna invest in a scuba snorkel kit for urself cuz u might get soaked

also, if ur engine is really hot and you go in water, the cooler water will risk cracking the engine. so ride to the water, let it sit for 10 mins or so. then let er rip
