Almost very serious

As some of you know, I've been workin in the UP. I have to ride a sled from main land to the island that we're working on. We were heading back to the truck from the jobsite. We were doin about 35-40 MPH along the shoreline. I could see what I thought was a whoopty doo on the trail, but it wasn't. It was a running spring about 4ft below the snowline. There was nothin I could do, so I bailed off the sled. I landed (on a pocket full of change...ouch), and slid on the icy snow. The snowmobile went into the hole, and hit the other side, and barrel rolled in the air, and landed on the hood. It nearly landed on me. My pride, and my leg are alittle bruised, but I'm alright. The only thing that happened to the sled was the windshield cracked a bit. It could've been worse, but I'm glad it wasn't.
