Went the Grand Rapids MI show last night. Every one was complaining about the 06 handle bar heaters. The big Yama said that there know that there is a problem and will be coming out with a update before next season. There could not say if the would do it as a recall item or a customer pay.
There unoffical short term fix was two fold.
# 1 Install handle bar deflectors. No problem if I could get the darn things mounted with out messing up the wires from the hand grips and over the break line.
# 2 Remove the handle bar hooks, spray in some foam in a can in and put the hooks right back on before the foam expands.
They indicated that does help. Just what I want to do to a new $10,000.00 sled
