this discussion imo is all common sence...

for example, many "townies" like to put loud exhaust on their trucks, and when their messing around on the corn field their ok...but when they come in to town to grab a beer, whammy, they get pulled over by the cops for loud pipes.

its all a matter of perception. if it sounds loud, you will draw attention. if its not, they'll let you go.

the au train trail that runs from au train (basically) to marquette has a speed limit, and cops frequently pull ppl over and check their sleds, and issue tickets. a smart rider would avoid this area if they've got pipes b/c it pi$$es of the residents. but instead they drive right thru KNOWING there is a cop waiting around the corner...then they b|tch they got a ticket.
